To check available space, you can call (417) 592-2512 during our normal operating hours (Wednesday-Friday 12-6, Saturday-Sunday 10-4). We accept animals from only Newton and McDonald counties (Missouri).
We do NOT accept injured animals. We do not have a veterinarian on staff and would not be able to provide adequate care.
We are NOT able to take animals under 8 weeks of age. We do have a small foster network that will take on bottle babies or nursing mothers.
We only take dogs and cats - if you have found a wild animal in need, we recommend reaching out to the Missouri Department of Conservation (if you are in MO). Their Springfield office's number is (417) 895-6880.
We do NOT accept aggressive behaviors.
All animals will be assessed during an intake appointment, and our Kennel Manager will decide if the animal is approved.
Intake is prioritized by need.
